Ministerial Relief

PCA Retirement & Benefits, Inc. (RBI) recognizes that a severe recession is sweeping across our country. This recession has resulted in significant job losses and now threatens the livelihood of many Americans. As PCA Teaching Elders and missionaries, you are not immune to the effects of this economic crisis. To help you cope with the financial burden associated with job loss, we have created the Emergency Assistance Ministry.

We believe God has called RBI to be of particular assistance to our shepherds -Teaching Elders, missionaries and their families who are in financial crisis due to a loss of income. We know this is a difficult time for you and want to help you as you transition your calling. You do not have to go through this difficult season alone. You have a wealth of brothers and sisters at RBI and in the PCA that care deeply about you and want to help you get back on firm financial footing.

If we can be of assistance to you and your family, please fill out the Emergency Assistance Application. You can find the link listed below. Send the completed form to us using the contact information at the bottom of the page. We will accept the completed application via e-mail, fax, or mail.

The Relief Administration Team will review all forms as quickly as possible and will process all approved requests. You should receive an update on the status of your request within 10 business days.

Eligibility

• Must be a PCA Teaching Elder or Missionary who lost your job during the economic downturn

Benefit Provisions

• Provides needs-based financial assistance
• Supplies up to six months of financial aid
• Covers critical living expenses, such as food and shelter

Partnership with PCA courts and organizations

• Determines need through consultations with Presbyteries, employers and local church bodies
