Vision
To glorify God by helping our ministry partners achieve financial security.
Mission
RBI is committed to serve the Lord and His Church by providing financial
direction and ministries of encouragement and support. As a member of God’s
covenant family, RBI will deliver its services through a trusted and
confidential relationship. We will provide professional expertise and
competitive products designed to meet the retirement, insurance and ministerial
relief needs of our Church family.
Core Values
1. Fulfilling the Great Commission
We value the Great Commission as the foundation for what we do and the purpose
of why RBI exists. The Great Commission is at the heart of what Jesus calls the
Church to do. As the PCA endeavors to fulfill the Lord’s mandate, the RBI Board
of Directors and Staff seek to assist the local church and other ministries by
providing services to meet their present and future financial needs. The church
servants are then able to exercise their gifts, talents and abilities for the
Great Commission free of their financial concerns. On our part, RBI fulfills the
Great Commission by serving those who serve the Lord. (Matt. 28:19-20,
Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-48, John 21:20, Acts 1:8-9)
2.
Prayer
We value prayer as an expression of our humility and dependence on God.
Following the example of Christ, we seek guidance from the Holy Spirit and
regularly pray for our work, His people and His Church. (I Thessalonians
5:16-18, Mark 1:35, Mark 17, Philippians 4:6-7)
3. Truth
We value truth for Jesus is truth and calls us to protect and promote truth,
through integrity and honesty in all areas of personal and ministry life. As we
serve those who serve the Lord, truth dictates our fiduciary responsibility and
holds us to a high moral standard. (John 14:6)
4. Service
We value service by placing others before ourselves in following the example of
Christ. We will serve our ministry partners by using our gifts, knowledge and
business expertise, empathizing with their concerns and providing guidance as
needed. (Matthew 20:26-28)
5. Excellence
We value excellence as an expression of God’s character, Who made all things
good and does all things well. We understand that all our work is done to model
the Lord Himself for the benefit of the individual and the Church. By God’s
grace and to the best of our abilities, we carry out our duties to those we
serve. (Colossians 3:23)
6. Relationships
We value relationships by modeling the Lord in His love and His servant heart.
Through personal meetings and communications, we seek to build connecting
relationships that express love, care and concern. We desire to treat all people
equally and with dignity. (John 13:34, John 17:22-23, Philippians 2:3-5)
7. Relevance
We value the need to be relevant in all our services and products. We will be
attentive to the service needs of our people. We will be current and competitive
in the product marketplace. Both the Staff and the Board are committed to high
standards of professional expertise in all service areas of our ministry. (I
Corinthians 9:22)
8. Teamwork
We value teamwork for Scripture teaches us that no one person is fully gifted or
able to carry out the work of RBI. We recognize each others’ strengths,
abilities, education, passions and experience. We seek to incorporate all
talents into a functioning body that works together to accomplish our mission.
This concept extends beyond RBI in that we value our ministry partners,
recognizing their call to a specialized work that contributes to the body of
Christ, collectively fulfilling the Great Commission. (I Corinthians 12 &
14, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
