PCA CHRISTMAS OFFERING ...
Gifts to the Christmas Offering for
Ministerial Relief from individuals, churches,
Sunday School classes and WICs enable Ministerial
Relief to assist needy retired and disabled
pastors, missionaries, church lay workers, their
widows and dependent children.
Presently, over four hundred potential Relief
recipients are being monitored. Applications for
assistance from the Ministerial Relief Fund are
carefully and confidentially reviewed. Gifts from
the Relief Fund are given on the basis of need
for a specified time period.
Often our retired pastors, missionaries, and,
in some cases, their widows have incomes close to
or below the Federal Poverty Level. Many served
under a low salary structure and were not able to
adequately participate in a retirement plan.
RBI provides Christmas Offering
bulletin inserts upon request. A reply
card will be sent to each church in late
September.
